The Detroit Entertainers and Musicians News (Detroit EM News) is a free bi-monthly family friendly publication created for the Detroit entertainment industry, celebrities and the general public.

Our mission is to provide a network of positive media coverage through several forms of communications:

* audio/video interviews * multi page magazine spreads * advertisement campaigns

Our History

In July 2006, local editor, Adrianne Reynolds began a newsletter - Detroit Metro Area Musicians & Entertainers Association News. This newsletter was created to communicate and form an alliance of musicians & entertainers in support of health care and help in times of need for artists.

In January 2007, Adrianne Reynolds and Michael Collins decided to make the fellowship amongst artist available to the public and the DETROIT ENTERTAINERS & MUSICIANS NEWS was created. Today, in our fourth year providing a platform to participate as an affiliate, intern, patron, volunteer, sponsor or supporter, Detroit EM News has positioned itself as a positive reflection of Detroit’s entertainment arena, its surrounding communities and beyond.

Our Vision

Our mission has been modified. It now includes the designation of the :L3C" organizational status. This new legislation in Michigan allows nonprofits and forprofits entities to coexist. This wll new legislation will make possible, the Detroit EM News subset magazine free of explicit sex made specifically for youth through a coordinated effort directed by professional musicians, entertainers, administrators, instructors and teachers.

Our Synergies

The purpose is to provide a communication platform for youth to inform us and each other of what matters to them. It will be developed from ideas of youth enrolled in Detroit EM News Mentorship Series Dreams & Aspiration Initiative. Through its column, “Blah, Blah, Blah Blog,” Detroit EM News will establish a merit system generated by Detroit EM News readership and visitors to Detroit EM News official website. Select comments and questions will be extrapolated and published to provide more insights and interesting information about concerts, events, nightclubs, shows and other topics.
